TOP SLOT

Card slides in from the top

Booth tent

Angled L-stand for table presence — closest to the colorful restaurant NFC stands. Thin front wall over the chip so phones can tap through the plastic.

≈95 × 66 × 77 mm

Print on the base foot. Light brim recommended.

SIDE SLOT

Card slides in from the side

Desk wedge

Lower profile dock. Slot sits under the sloping face. Good when you want less height on the high-top.

≈99 × 72 × 36 mm

Print flat on the bottom — no supports.

EDGE SLOT

Card slides in from the short edge

Flat tap mat

Discrete plaque. Add a printed “TAP” / booth-name sticker on top, or leave the recessed ring as the cue.

≈100 × 69 × 4 mm

Print bottom-down for a smooth tap face.

SEALED CAVITY

Sealed mid-print (drop card in, resume)

Pause-embed plaque

Fully enclosed cavity — no removable card, nothing to fall out. Edge notch marks the pause height in your slicer.

≈98 × 67 × 4 mm

Pause after cavity floor → drop CR80 → resume.

How embedding works

Slide-in (#01–03)

Print the stand, then push the programmed CR80 into the slot. Friction holds it. Swap cards if a booth URL changes.

Pause-embed (#04)

Slicer pause after the cavity floor → drop the card in → resume. Permanently sealed in plastic.

NFC through plastic

Front wall is ~1.0–1.2 mm so phones still read. Avoid metal-fill filament near the antenna.

Starting print settings: PLA/PETG · 0.2 mm layers · 20–30% infill · ≥3 walls. Full notes in the stands README.

Recommended path

  1. Print one of each (#01–03) as fit samples with a spare card.
  2. Pick a winner for booth presence (likely the tent or wedge).
  3. Print seven (or fourteen backups), program each card to that booth’s passport URL, then seat the card in the stand.
